Here it is, our first Grace Ormonde shoot! We've all been looking forward for our chance to shoot for a high-fashion wedding magazine like Grace Ormonde, and I personally am a big fan of the magazine so I was excited to be able to come along to Maui for the shoot. Our entire shoot took place at the Grand Wailea Resort on Maui's south-eastern shore where we shot table and floral designs and bouquets by Anny Heid Flowers and Floral Designs Maui. The beautiful table designs were set up at several different picturesque locations chosen by Grace Ormonde around the resort . Having men pose with bouquets is something that Grace Ormonde is known for. Their reason for this is because traditionally, men would give flowers to women as a proposal gift in lieu of an engagement ring. Our male models for the bouquet shoot were actually hotel staff that were found last minute on that very day. I'm sure none of those guys had any thought on their way to work that day that they'd have the chance to model for a national magazine! Below we've scanned in a few of the photos that ran in the magazine, plus a photo of Jon, who was very excited to receive the issue at the office and had to be the first to read it.
