NY Chic in Turks & Caicos

Vivian and Kevin knew exactly what type of wedding they wanted once they started planning for their big day, something that represented both of their personalities and everyday lifestyle. Both from New York, it was no surprise that they wanted to include a sense of travel, style and a modern twist to their venue location.

The Gansevoort Luxury Hotel in Turks & Caicos was chic, minimal and perfect.

The couple wed on the white sands and crystal blue water of the Grace Bay Beach. It was exactly what they had envisioned.

Visionari has had many opportunities to travel and photograph weddings all around the world. This one was definitely special. We are so humble to share some of Vivian and Kevin’s wonderful images from their gorgeous wedding day!

Everyone has to agree that when it comes to the big day, it's all about the gown!! Visionari and Pacific Weddings has teamed up to capture some the season's most ethereal gowns. Featuring one of Hawaii's oldest backdrop - the lighthouses at Kalaeloa Beach, the shoot turned out to be very whimsical and romantic.
Justine Godfrey, our model for the day did an amazing job capturing the essence and added much drama to these gorgeous photos.

Dominican Republic

Marlene Parron and John Bingaman, both from New York first met at a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton. Little did they know that this was going to be the beginning of their happily ever after…

Marlene, who coincidently became roommates with one of John’s high school friend made it easy for John to find an excuse for his frequent visits. These visits over time blossomed romantically for the two of them. They were inseparable until John had to relocate for business in London. Being away from one another wasn’t easy but they kept their spirits high by always saying, “absence makes the heart grow fonder”.

It wasn’t until a holiday together in Croatia that made them both realized that they no longer could live apart. John asked for Marlene’s hand in marriage on a romantic walk in October 2010 where she happily accepted.

The setting for their nuptials was set in Santo Domingo – Dominican Republic. Their wedding venue was at the Historic Hostal Nicolas de Ovando located in the colonial quarters on the famed street Las Damas. It was the perfect location since Marlene is from the Dominican Republic and John’s parents loved history. The celebration was beautiful lasting late into the early morning! Both groom and bride were glowing the entire day.
